Beats in the Forest Workshop
The Beats in the Forest workshop invites youth programs to learn how to make beats in nature. Participants in the “Beats in the Forest” workshop embark on a sound-based nature walk, beat making lesson, and beat making showcase. At the end of the workshop, program participants will leave with a sense of enjoyment & creativity, a completed beat and a better understanding of the role of sound in environmental conservation initiatives.
Outdoor Recording Studio
Planet Chambo sets up music recording studio in the outdoors. Program participants select an instrumental, write lyrics, and record a song together in nature. We have the capabilities to produce meditations, drum recordings, and other kinds of productions too. At the end of the workshop, program participants will leave with increased group cohesion and a recorded production to share on websites, social media, and more.
Outdoor Music Video
Planet Chambo invites professional videographers to record outdoor music videos for youth programs and organizations. Music videos can feature beats produced in their “Beats in the Forest” workshop or songs recorded in the “Outdoor Studio.” But music videos can also feature photographs and video existing programs.
Hip-Hop Outdoors Locations
Planet Chambo partners with a variety of environmental organizations and nature centers to help youth discover green spaces through the Hip-Hop Outdoors Program.
